#58894 - Dual Port Ram memory problems |
Hello,
I am interfacing IDT7130 dual port ram with 8051. However i have some problems when i read the memory. I have used two 8051 controllers on either side of dual port ram. One controller writes the data, while the other only reads the data. The reading controller should get a busy signal when the same locations are accessed,so the busy signal of DPRAM on the reading controller side is tied to its port bit ,while the other busy is connected to vcc . I write 41h to all the memory locations 00000h - 03ffh. However when i read all those locations some values i recieve are corrupted .i noted down all the memory locations which outputs the garabage data. I try writing them individually and read the same ,there is no problem in that case. Around 8 memory locations are not being read properly. What can be the posible problem? Thanks, Pravin |
