Hmm, kinda depends on where you draw the line, eh? I'd view the domain of the instruction set as encompassing this, but a neocon might think less broadly, e.g. concerning themselves only with the likes of the carry flag... While I do think that the sequence I described would work fine on Ye Olde Cpu, given as this is just the kinda thing that's likely to fall through the cracks of the porting room floor, I do think I'll have to consult the horse's mouth.
