I have played with JVM in a 8052 and its not something I want to do again,its slow, its huge, its buggy and it doesnt do anything which proper software design will do in any application which you can possibly use the 8052 for.
Mind you its not as bad as someone I was talking to last week who wants to run embedded perl on a 68000,I just nodded and smiled sweetly.I was tempted to ask if he wanted to include cpan modules as well but thought he might get the red mist.
