i have been generating the sclk and cs for the conversion through assembly by toggling a set of port pin's & the adc is working perfectly however i am not sure how to read it back into memory So what exactly is your problem? Do you just not see how to do the serial-to-parallel conversion? Think about how a hardware shift register does it: read a bit into the LSB; shift the byte up; read the next bit into the LSB; shift the byte up; etc, til you've filled a byte - then save the byte, and start the next byte |
