#64894 - RE: TROUBLESHOOTING THE ASIM KHAN PROGRAMMER Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Appreciate response from those who have successfully implemented the Programmer.
Well, once I made this programmer (Ver 2) and it still works fine. I designed my own PCB and made no change to the original design. On some PCs, the cable length is critical (due to port fan out)otherwise there was no problem at all. If you are just building the programmer for the sake of learning, then its ok. But if you need a programmer while having low budget, I can tell you the source where you can get one ready made and tested programmer and save your time and efforts. BTW: ISP chips are readliy available in Rawalpindi and have almost same priced. But I have seen more questions on this forum regarding ISP chips than kitchen table programmers. |
