#64897 - Atmel\\\'s programmer which ORCAD? |
Hi Everybody,
Atmel's original programmer(parallel)and its modification for modern parallel ports,is detailed in a pdf file titled "Using a Personal Computer to Program the AT89C51/C52/LV51/LV52/C1051/C2051". Schematic files are also on net with extensions *.p01,*.p02 etc. as given below:- PPROG_D.P01 ORCAD schematic file for the parallel programmer (p.01) PPROG_D.P02 ORCAD schematic file for the parallel programmer (p.02) PPROG_D.P03 ORCAD schematic file for the parallel programmer (p.03) PINT.P01 ORCAD schematic file for the parallel interface (p.01) PINT.P02 ORCAD schematic file for the parallel interface (p.02) PPROG.LIB ORCAD library file with the objects for the schematic files Since these are from, shall I say,'Horses mouth' I request your opinion on it. I shall be grateful if Mr.Kai Klass would enlighten us on its good and bad and Eric would frankly share his experience(Hallo Eric, ... 8 countries but total area?... population?..don't mind I'm just curious). But my main question to all in forum is how to view the above files.I tried long with Orcad 9.2 ,Captute CIS and Layout plus, but in vain.I am dying to know if Atmel has recommended any layout for the schematic which is anyway there in the pdf file.Sorry not to be able to give any links but I have given ample keywords. Again to Kai Klass .. its complementality of expectation Sir.Since I learnt a lot from you regarding GIF and giffy,I hope answer from you for this ORCAD backward comptibility problem and also on suitability of this design.
