Kai: Not 'real' challenge but 'real' demmand from market.And I cannot sustain and go in for say ISP/IAP today may be JTAG tomorrow if I cannot face the
market challenge and satisfy them.Market wants very cheap programmer for very very cheap microcontroller.When Ashim Khan's programmer was discussed.I thought to begin from the beginning.Otherwise I am married neither to Atmel
nor to parallel port!! In fact I use a serial programmer for 89C5x.
I fully appreciate the need to keep to keep abreast as I have tried to do for the last 40 years ( I made my superhet receiver before I learnt a plus b wholesquare; I made my TV ,running for last 16 years,touch-wood,PCB and IF
coils homemade,without oscilloscope and at present cater for very small manufacturers for their possible applications of microcontrollers).
Are you O.K. Kai? I was expecting answers to my electronics questions in second posting.Please be kind enough to consider those.
I still feel there should be a tutorial on how to make a programmer.
Why don't you guys admit that you know how to programme but not how to make
a programmer.Old schools like me never attempt second chapter without mastering
the first.
My Indian friends not even Avisekh/Raghu care/dare to.....advise!
