Right or wrong doesn't really matter here, what matters is that you should not reuse a defective chip, as there is no way of telling what's damaged and what's not.


But you guys don't have to heat up over the price issue as you all have made it clear that a new chip is the only solution and that 'widlarising' the chip would be the climax scene.
