Hi Tanuj,

Just for your information external programmers are NOT available for INR 900 - even in India. The most humble one ( but a good one - for me, till date ) costs about INR 6000. The beauty is, it can program the 89c51 as well as the 89c51rd2 besides many others. But I dont see why anybody would need this to program an ISP chip - except in cases like a fractured P2.7. And if we are talking top of the line ones then be prepared to shell out INR 20K plus.

OK most of what I said may not be useful to you - just mentioning since you brought the topic of cost.

So what are you planning for your next MCU ?
