One thing that will kill you is the trigger. I have tried many scopes with similar specs and the one distinguishing factor between similar scopes is the trigger.

I will excercise care with this trigger thing and put my best efforts to get this working properly.

Sampling at 100MHZ does not make a 100MHz scope.

You are absolutely right Erik, Sampling @ 100MSPS wont make 100MHz scope. I think this scope will measure maximum 50MHz for digital signals and far less than 10MHz for analog signals that with wave distortion. looks like the maximum analog frequency that can be seen without much distortion will be around 1MHz.
