Thanks to both of you for your replies. It's always better if before starting a project the hurdles in the way are known in advance. And you kind friends are doing the same thanks for telling the problems that I might enconter. I will excercise precautions that you have pointed out so that there won't be much troubles.

One think I want to say again is I am not targetting my scope for MHz ranges. Although my ADC is 100MSPS I wont use the scope for measuring 100MHz The maximum measurement rating for scope will be 1MHz and the scope is primirally intended for Industrial Electrical applications where ususally the frequency to be measured are quite low. [ 50 Hz etc. ]. I am not targetting my DSO for Electronic lab applications where one needs to measure glitches of the order of few nano seconds [ nS ].
