I do NOT multiplex by row.

The "multiplex" is a means of controlling color as you will see from my previous post.

The reason it is relevant in a multiplex discussion is the the "flicker" effect is the same.

As stated before, the brightness I achieve is equivalent to e.g. the red LED constantly on.
