I do not know the brand you are talking about, but from the text I gather that you are talking about flat cable connectors. If that is, indeed, the case beware that flatcable connectors are only reliable when the proper AWG wire is used. When the proper wire is used, I know of no realiablity problems (using several hundered every day).
