#86753 - ISP/IAP Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Erik,
I'm quite aware of the ISP/IAP methods. If you go back to my original post, I asked "Has anyone ... via the serial programming interface?". I just need to breadboard or wirewrap up a cheap programming interface. But 15 years is far too long for a kit to remain half built, and eprom programmers are still quite useful. It will be quicker to finish this than create a PCB or wirewrap a ISP/IAP chip programmer. I have a bunch of old non-ISP/IAP chips lying around to play with. I might use this to bootstrap my capabilities at some point. One thing at a time... I'm doing this for the fun of it, not for school, or a job, so I'm going to conserve my "hobby money". I'll get to 2005 eventually.... Probably around 2015! ;) Cheers, Rob |
