Dear Kai,

I read almost all Op-amp appliaction notes I have on my hard disk. The first section of the schematic you poasted is exactly like the Current to Voltage converter schematic in "National" Op-Amp application guide. But whats this circuit doing here.

It also looks very much like a unity gain buffer. Is it? If yes then why is the signal input to "Inverting input"? You have shown a 13k fixed resistor + 4k7 pot whats the significance of this resistor value? I am very confused kindly reply to my post and clear my doubts.
