	We usually just call it a thermoelectric voltage. Potential is rarely used in discussion for some reason, we usually say "voltage". My Physics Text Books & Reference books use word "Thermo EMF [ Elecro Motive Force ] & the metal juction is "thermocouple". Regards, Prahlad
