I may yet go with the I2C approach or similar, but had hoped to be faster.
If the IIC is between 2 uCs ONLY, the 100/400k speed limit does not apply. You can go as fast as the uCs can follow. Also, many other chips can go faster e.g. the Ramtron serial memories will hang on till 2MHz. Erik |
