I tried to point you in the other thread into the SoftICE, a variety of Keil's FlashMON which is smart enough to hide all the details into the added bootFLASH. Read more at http://www.sst.com/products/...s/softice/ The same works with the Philips' P89V51RD2 too. You should be able to get it for around 10 Euro or so. And it is pin compatible with the good old '51. So the only thing you need is any board with a socketed standard '51 with the RS232 convertor. I believe, you have that already at hand. Jan Waclawek |
