#90600 - One futther on the Wall Wart Idea...
Responding to: ???'s previous message
You may also consider the newest in wall wart technology which are the small universal input switcher type. These have no bulky transformer but are a bit more costly. At any rate, as Kai said, the wall wart response time is way slower unless you pick a low current model and put a 25 to 33 ohm resistor across its output leads.

The wall wart is a simple solution for a one-up type project but if one were to go for manufacturing then the lower cost circuit such as Kai presented is more appropriate.
