1) Why you want to use teleruptor type (latching relays) to control AC appliances?

2) If you must use them, why not use relay with additional pole / contacts and use it for indication purpose? How costly it would be? more than the cost of wall-wart or more than AC optocoupler and its associated circuitry or more than small isolation transformer + bridge + transistors + PCB space?

Please explain a little what do you plan to do and how?. May be I am completely missing your idea but here We use nothing such stuff, just simple On/Off switches directly controlling the AC appliances.
