#91041 - How legal is it?? |
A couple of times this last month I have been in a position where have been discusing information which while not specificaly proprietry is information which I have because of research and development performed for other companies. I have checked the contracts that I signed with those old employers and they all contain phrases which basically say that if you leave your brain will be wiped clean and you will never discuss any knowledge obtained while in our employ with anyone on pain of death, and I was just wondering what is the legal position if you havent worked for a company for a couple of years but you know stuff which might be of advantage to a competitor. Can they sue you for disclosing information that they paid for? |
