#91057 - IPR and Know How Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Erik Malund said:
The president told me that as far as technical knowledge he could do nothing about what was in my head, but I could take no paper. However as far as customers, finances and such he could - and would - sue the shirt off my back if I revealed anything. This seems to be the practical implementation of the law in the US.Erik The UK is similar except that we do differentiate between Intellectual Property (IPR) and know how. Your know how is what allows you to create IPR for a client, your employer or yourself. The IPR may not belong to you but your know how is yours absolutely. Ian |
