#91045 - I was told by a big corp president Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Can they sue you for disclosing information that they paid for
Because of a merger I separated amicably from a 1000+ employee company. The president told me that as far as technical knowledge he could do nothing about what was in my head, but I could take no paper. However as far as customers, finances and such he could - and would - sue the shirt off my back if I revealed anything. This seems to be the practical implementation of the law in the US. Based on that, I never even glance at something done for another company, but if I am asked to make the '51 do the hula, and have done that before, I have no hesitation doing that again (from scratch).
