What's a noob?

This was your very first post here ever - so we have absolutely nothing whatsoever by which to judge your level of experience.

You talked about AMD 8051s (when did AMD last make an 8051?!) and "run at 5 volts like usual" and referred to 3.3V as "unusual". None of this sounds like someone familiar with current electronics (3.3V has been mainstream for years).

Then you start confusing absolute maximum ratings with operating conditions - a common beginner's mistake.

So, come on - lighten up!
