#91437 - programming cards for the '51
Responding to: ???'s previous message
What I really miss though, are those great little programming pocket-sized cards/books. I have a bunch for almost every Motorola 8-bitter as well as the 68k, an x86 one, a z80 one, a PIC one and even a C-language one. But no 8051

I used to have programming cards for the Lockheed SUE (circa 1980) the SCC660 (1980s) the SDS990 (same). None of these cards had "interface card" specifications. For someone to come up with programming cards for the '51 they would have to make one for each and every derivative, just see the "preface" to the LPC93x datsheet (or is it the user guide) there are pages and pages and pages of SFR tables, just to list those would make the "card" a "book".

Anyhow, I have gone "paperless" since the event of the web allow one to get the latest revision of any document.

Erik

To Jan:
A programming card for a given '51 derivative would be a small card/book with a table of SFRs and instruction mnemonics and their binary equivalents.
