They are approximately wallet-sized folding cardboard cards as Erik described. The earlier ones described only the CPU (since that's all there was back then). The microcontroller ones were tiny books with CPU information as well as a page for each peripheral. My HC11 one is about 3" x 5" and has about 75 pages. It's easily pocket-sized much more so than a PDA. ;-)
