#92483 - SDCC support for the DS89C420
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Have any of you guys had direct experience with SDCC and the MAXIM/DALLAS 89C420..450? I'm wondering whether SDCC is complete enough to use with these controllers.

I just had a look at the mcs51reg.h included in the most recent (2005-04-27) SDCC release for Windows and there's section upon section of definitions for the '420 as well as several other Dallas micros (the 80C323, 87C530, 80C390, etc.), so my immediate guess is that it doesn't lack the most basic support.

Edit: Take a look at Dallas' website and read this appnote on the subject http://www.maxim-ic.com/appnotes....umber/3477 - it lists some of the shortcomings of the duo.
