#92850 - is it Mehdi?
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Well, I am also stuck up with similar problem now. I have bought two LCDs - JHD 162A but both of them are not working. I mean, I cant even see a single pixel responding but only backlight.

I went and asked the shopkeeper but he said he is yet to get any complaint about the LCD. I suspected that my two LCD modules might be from same lot, but the shopkeeper denied the fact simply. He said, LCD modules are rugged enough to be working even on adverse and hostile conditions.

You said that if we give Vss to pin 1, Vcc(+5v) to pin 2, and a 5Kohm pot between pin 3 and ground ( Am I right?), there will be some response from the pixels. I can have the this testing while buying, since this procedure requires simply a power supply. Can I rely upon this process? Because I am trying desparately for the past three days to get my LCDs working. One LCD module costs Rs. 250 so I have already spent Rs. 500 in the past 3 days !!

I am very sure about the PCB and the power supply I am using. I have tested the routine for LCD, it is going well. I now require atleast some output in LCD then I can dive into retrospection!!

Regards,
Vignesh.
