Dear Vignesh,
Have you tried rotating the contrast control pot. If you have done that post your code here. A lot of the LCD's have auto reset and initialisation feature at power on. In this case the LCD initialises and thus the display is blank untill you send some data for display. If it doesnt auto initialise at power up you see the first filled with black blocks. LCD blank has three posibilites. 1. Contrast not adjusted properly. 2. LCD initalises either automatically or through your software. 3. LCD damaged. In case of damaged LCD what I have usually observed is the COB [ the black chip ] on its back heats up within a very short period of time.
