Hi Mehdi,
    I was too desparate to make my LCD working so I downloaded your code from code library. It worked perfectly in both simulator and in my PCB. LCD is happy now !!

      Well, I reckon you might have gone thru my aforementioned code in this thread. What mistake have I committed? I dint go through your code fully yet( it is 1.10 am local time, feeling sleepy, sorry !! will go thru tomorrow) but I saw you were using some Delay routines instead of polling the busy status of the LCD. Is it not? Well, is delay a good option in timing sensitive peripherals? What about if I go for a low clock frequency? I also saw that you set RW line low in the INITIALISE routine. How about my question about the tutorial?

      Nevertheless, I am so happy to have my LCD working. Thank you all of this forum for your help, suggestions, criticisms, caveats and encouragements.
