Thanks for your intrest in my thread and responses,

But I believe such answers wont make my friend agree why a soft swtiching for resistive loads.

I believe only the following can make him accept that there is correlation in between dv/dt and emissions when switching resistive loads.

1. A concrete theory .
2. Mathematical relation.
3. Newton whisper in his ear and explain.
4. God come down to earth and explain
