#93286 - Is this not a trick question?
Responding to: ???'s previous message

Is this a trick question? - depending on 'ideal' as in perfect components vs the real world components the outcome may be different. So is this person asking the question trying to test your knowlege or actually does not understand. If they do not understand and want a mathematical explanation then tell them to go to the library and do some reading!

I occasionally pose such questions to others just to make sure they understand the mechanisms involved.
