but what will happen when that line rings while your test set is connected?
Proper test equiptment is at least an order of magnitude more robust than a circuit intended to work in the environment to be tested. The working circuit is expected to survive all normal range excursions on every pin without failure. The test gear must survive the absolute worst that it will be exposed to or it will fail when you need it most. Terry |
