All it does is when its read the barcode it then calculates a hash code which you can then use to get an address for the serial flash, checks to see if there is some data in that address if there is plays it out as PCM and then gives you the option to record some new pcm at the same address if you want, if there is nothing recorded in the flash before hand then its a new barcode so it just lets you record pcm to the flash.Its just sampled at 8kb/s so you can get a lot of recordings in a fairly small flash. |
