Jan, I probably didn't explain myself too well - I wasn't saying that the CRC dictates the turnaround time, but suggesting that calculating the CRC & processing the data can take some time so that the turnaround is not too critical. Most of my stuff uses MODBUS protocol, so you have the 3.5 char times delay imposed anyway. |
