typical start pulse with and ALE pulse width of 100ns or 200ns MAX and the timing diagram on page 7. Then on this Data sheet

It says that the minumun ALE pulse width is max 200ns. That one is worthy of the techwriter of the year award

In effect is says that if the ALE pulse is 200ns or more you are good.
