do not forget that having a SW UART, in effect, kill the processor when it is running.
The only "no UART UART" I have seen, that has any resemblance of working as a UART processor consumption wise, is one I saw somewhere (I forgot where, maybe someone else can give a link) was one based on two PCA counters. Why not just use a processor with two UARTs, why use kludges when solutions are available? Erik |
