There's a difference between "UART software" and "software UART," just as there's a difference between "Danish cheese" and "Cheese Danish," the latter referring to a "Danish" pastry, though I doubt they're really Danish.

The "UART software" operates the on-board UART, while the "software UART" operates AS a UART.
