#127386 - Getting the job done
Responding to: ???'s previous message

I would like to use C languege as much as posible. I need to write efective and fast program.

The two requirements above are mutually incompatible.

I prefer to work in Windows OS.

That's your first mistake.

I have only shool knowlage about 8051...

Then why are you working on professional development? The denotative meaning of "professional" is merely someone who gets paid for doing something, but the connotative meaning implies that one is also quite good at it. "Only school knowledge" does not imply that one is capable of getting the job done--quite the contrary. Experience matters.

I see that only this page has links to around 40 DEVELOPMENT SYSTEMs.

Then avoid systems like Keil that do hand-holding for you. Use SDCC. Keil is great once you've learned the ropes, but otherwise cripples newbies by not making them learn the basics.

You asked for opinions--that's mine, for what it's worth.
