He sais He wanted windows. The world uses windows. It is not part of the discussion, It does not answer the OPs question. I use Windows, why becuase that is what the tools run on period. (I know I can get whatever to run the tool, but why) The guy says he is a newbie, So the suggestion is to run a new OS? I am sure his boss will be thrilled that he says the 8052 needs Linux. Maybe he will decide to switch to an AVR that runs on a PC.
