My "Don't cares" are embedded into my script as "mov R7,A". That instruction does no other purpose in my program. They are used only to simplify my equation so that I use the fewest number of logic gates.


As for your objective - do you want the simplest logic equation or do you want the simplest hardware solution?

A little of both, but I want the simplest logic equation so that I don't need so many logic gates.
