#133502 - Mike S I wish you a lot of fun Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I don't see an initialize for the DPTR in your program.
Mike S: When you have hardwired for weeks and try your "wired PROM" and find a small bug that requires that you insert an instruction I wish you a lot of fun. You are in the same boat as this poster http://www.8052.com/forum/read.phtml?id=133471 I recall me being equally stubborn as you till I got some experience and, honestly, would I have barged ahead the way you do has a forum existed those days - I do not know. One suggestion: count how many have told you "hang this method up" and then sit back and think a bit. The fact that you steer the discussion to "logic minimilazation" and get replies there does not in any fashion indicate that those that reply agree with the application thereof If you read e.g. Andy, you will see "give up the hardwired square wheel" and "logic can be minimalized by". Does the second answer invaidate the first? I do not think so. Erik |
