#134208 - anyone tell ya I have a slower clock too? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I have an 18.432Mhz and an 8.064Mhz clock.
My EEPROM is an AT28C256 and I doubt it needs a capacitor since it supports page writing. Here is a link to my EEPROM: http://www.atmel.com/dyn/produ...rt_id=1904 and here is what Atmel's datasheet states: The page write operation of the AT28C256 allows 1 to 64 bytes of data to be written into the device during a single internal programming period. A page write operation is initiated in the same manner as a byte write; the first byte written can then be followed by 1 to 63 additional bytes. Each successive byte must be written within 150 µs (tBLC) of the previous byte. Which means that maybe I don't need a capacitor! |
