I have just found out that I am forced to accept that, in a new development one unit will (to use an existing board) have an AVR controller. ARGH

I do not want to jump through hoops to use this sign, does anyone know of a compiler for the AVR than can process C formatted for Keil with no/minimum change. Things like "unsigned char XDATA" are defined in a separate file as, for this, UX8. Of course all things involving SFRs and such will have to change, my question refer to the basic C syntax.

gener5al comments on ease of use, reliability and such will, of course be appreciated as well
