I disagree.
If we simply ignore posts, the poster can learn nothing - they won't realise why it's being ignored, and they won't get any answer to their question.

At least if the reason for no reply is clearly spelled out, they have the chance to re-do the post in an acceptable manner.

The person using SMS isn't probably trying to intentionally annoy anyone and the person that writes in all caps probably doesn't mean to shout.

Probably true - so more important that the reason for ignoring the post is clear?
