As very much a newbie, who is trying very hard to change that, I would appreciate a list of common abbreviations with their meanings. All trades and professions use abbreviations with out thinking that the person they are addressing may not be as oaf with them. I have posted two treads since joining, the first one I got a mixed bag of answers from read the manual, to, two with what I found out later were the answer to the problem, but until I fingered out what he was telling me, he could have come from Mars.
You may not always have patience with a newbie because of their lack of knowledge on a particular subject, that’s fine you don't need to answer the thread. Encouragement though is helpful, I sent an e-mail to Craig about an item on the tutorial page, to see if I had got it right, I got a good response which help me and encouraged me.
So I will keep trying.
