If I understood it correctly, Andy does not need multiple virtual COMs - he needs two UARTs on the '51 but only a single "connection" to the PC (but he did not state it unambiguously, I admit).

Nevertheless, this is a very useful nugget of information for those who plan to use the mentioned '51 derivatives. Does this also mean, that one cannot have connected more of these derivatives (having one virtual COM for each)?
