If you're not in a position to walk away, then you must go on record as warning of severe schedule slip and budget overrun if changes are imposed from without or due to currently unspecified requirements. You must be sure that YOU have considered all the probable areas where such things could occur within your work, too, and allow some slack, else YOU may be the reason for schedule slip and/or budget overrun.
