#143031 - Jan, you\'re missing my point!
Responding to: ???'s previous message
I, too, am getting tired of restating the same questions and getting no answer.

I've stated, repeatedly, that I have no doubt that RESET/Supervisor IC's do precisely what their manufacturers claim.

I've asked, repeatedly, how you observed that you that you have/had a RESET-related problem, and how, subsequent to the application of a RESET/Supervisor IC, you observed/verified that the problem was "fixed."

You keep repeating your statement that these parts work. I don't disagree.

However, I keep asking the same question, and I'm not getting any relevant answers.

How did you show that the problem that you had was, in fact, a RESET problem, rather than a power-supply, faulty memory, intermittent connection, shorted cap, or some other fault? In what way did you convince yourself, after the fact, that the introduction of the RESET/Supervisor IC corrected that particular problem? What combination of signals or events did you observe to change once the RESET/Supervisor IC was in the circuit?
