#155388 - USB to Serial adapter problem |
Hello all, I had already designed a online data logger 3 years before. On PC side, i developed a software which fetches data [it cosist some bytes] from the instrument through serial cable an dispalys it in graphical format. Nowdays the 9 pin DB serial ports are being outdated, hence i have to replace it with USB. I found some USB to Serial adapters. but i dont know exactly how i should modify my VB software and/or the MCU firmware. Can i still get data in same byte fomat from USB port/its driver programs? Should i make another sotware to deal between my VB program and USB Port? Any suggestion is appreciated. Thanks.. |
